Location

Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground is based in the town of Hetton-Le-Hole, seven miles out from Sunderland City Centre. Welfare Roadd, Hetton-le-Hole, Houghton le Spring, DH5 9NA

The stadium has a covered seating area along the Main Stand side which seats 250 people on a first come first served basis, with uncovered standing areas on the other three sides. There is no segregated home or away sections.

Catering facilities are located behind one of the goals. The complex also features the Bob Paisley Bar, which is accessible pre-match.

Snacks and hot and cold beverages are available inside the ground.

How to get there

Car: From Sunderland you can use the A690 southbound or the A19 and A690 southbound to get to Hetton, if you're travelling from Durham you can use the A690 northbound.

Bus: Take the number 35 bus from Sunderland Interchange to Houghton Road-Regent Street, Hetton. If coming from Durham (Stand J) and take the number 65 bus to Seaham and get off at the Hetton-Le-Hole Interchange

Parking

Official parking is not available at the stadium and parking in the surrounding areas is limited. It is better to arrive early in order to secure a space close to the ground.

Accessibility

Eppleton is accessible for wheelchair users, with the ground being all one level and footpaths covering the entirety of the pitch barriers. Toilets are located upon entry through the main gate. There are plenty of stewards and paramedics on hand for any support required.
